If you encounter range problems for 868 MHz Gen2 Transmitters in a building, you can extend the range with this repeater. It is called smart repeater, because it can be used in different topologies and it repeates only known sensors instead of
just all wireless traffic it receives. Sensor - Repeater - Panel configurations are possible as well as Sensor - Repeater - Repeater - Panel. Up to 15 smart repeaters can be networked which allows a longer coverage in a wireless installation.
